Boat for Sale
1994 Crownline 250CR
26 Foot Cabin Cruiser (sleeps 4)

First off, I need to sell my boat ASAP - My business is moving to Florida so I have no choice. That said, this Crownline 260 is priced to sell and it's a great deal. Boat hulls can keep their beauty but engines sometimes die. This boat's engine died on me in 2012 so I had replaced it with a brand new engine. There is not 1 nautical mile on this engine yet.

The engine was replaced in November 2013 with a (rebuild) factory identical replacement (454HP) which includes a 1 year warranty. Just start it up and go.
You can be the first to put new miles on this engine by picking it up now.

The interior is in very good condition - no rips or tears - as you can see by the pics.

I have used it mostly for day trips around the Raritan Bay and New York Harbor during the Summer seasons, but it could be easily taken on long trips up the Hudson River to Havastraw or out to Fire Island or Block Island. It's like having a camper on the water. It is designed with all of the creature comforts to make your trips enjoyable. Fresh water system, fridge, stove, bathroom, shower, microwave, outlets, stereo, fishing pole receptacles, etc...

The 80 gallon tank will give you plenty of rides between refills.

FEATURES TO NOTE: There's a hot water heater, thru hull exhaust, pump-out head, electric powered anchor (windless) with line (sorry not working last year), trim tabs to stabilize your ride, fresh water system for in-cabin head / shower / sink and aft-deck shower. There's also a salt water pump with hose attached off the aft deck for wash down after fishing.

This Crownline 250CR was purchased in 2007 and has been used for the summer seasons in Raritan Bay. It's not bad on gas, (as far as boats go). It now has 000 hours on the new engine.

I winterize, tune-up, oil change and spring prep the engine myself so it is running excellent.
The 454 C.I. / 7.4 Liter Mercruiser engine a very reliable workhorse. The 80 gallon tank will give you plenty of rides between fillings. This boat has been kept in dry storage under winter cover next to my home each off season.

The CL 250CR is sea-worthy and safety checked so just drop her in and enjoy the experience.

NOTE: There's a hot water heater, thru hull exhaust, pump-out head, electric powered anchor (windless) with line (sorry not working last year), trim tabs to stabalize your ride, cold water system for in-cabin head / aft-deck showers and the sink. There's also a salt water pump with hose attached off the aft deck for wash down after fishing.

SHORE POWER

While at port, this boat uses the shore power at the dock to charge the battery and run accessories like the upper and lower deck stereo / radio, TV etc. There are plugs onboard for vacuum, TV, etc plus some nice ammenities including bathroom with head, sink and (fresh water system) shower. There's also a shower on the transom (rear swim platform). There is a working stove (elec. at dock and alcohol at sea). A microwave (needs shore power) and that all important refrigerator runs at port and at sea on battery power.

BATTERY POWER

There are 2 battery comartments so that you do not need to worry about running out of power and getting stuck. Use one battery's power at sea and then if it starts to run down (which has never happened to me) then switch over to the fully charged battery. One of the best features of this boat is that there is a built in battery charger so while plugged in at port, your batteries are always being charged full.

On the bridge there is a swing back seat for two at the steering wheel and a captains swivel chair for guests. A removeable table with beverage holders plugs into a floor recptacle behind the driver for dining or just to lean on or place beverages. Bridge instruments include a depth finder, compass and a Lowrance GPS with mapping chips to see just where you are at anytime and always find your way to your destination and back, especially in the dark - just follow your tracks home.
